It is known that Mani Ratnam is doing a bilingual (Telugu and Tamil) based on the popular Tamil novel 'Ponniyin Selvan' written by Kalki Krishna Murthy. The film will be an epic classic and Prince Mahesh had already agreed to play one of the lead roles in it. Tamil stars Vijay and Arya will be playing other lead roles. Anushkan is now acting in two of her movies and will give the call sheets to the said movie after completign her current movies. Pre-production works of the project are currently going on. Shooting is likely to commence in October. Details of other cast and crew are yet to be known.
